One of my favorite things to do on a chilled winter evening is to get all wrapped up and to go for a nice relaxing walk down on the beach with my doggies. Here are some photos from last weeks cold and crispy walk. Enjoy.
Everyone has a 'happy place' or a 'calming place' and so one, so today I thought I'd a very low-key post showing photos of my happy/calming place. Sierra Alhamilla is a place very close to where I live where me and mum like to go to take blog photos, instagram photos and do a bit of hiking and exploring. I believe it is among the quietest, most peaceful places I have ever visited. Where is your happy place?
Traveling is a thing I love to experience from time to time. Obviously I do miss home, but I do love it.
This year I have traveled various places both in and out of Spain and I only hope this grows throughout 2016. I have left my heart in so many places and I can't wait to go back to them, so today I am going to talk about my favorite.
GRANADA
One of my top places I visited had to be Granada, when I say it is beautiful, I mean it.
When walking around the busy streets I loved the rustic vibe of the 'rugs' hanging above the road for shade, later this year I also so these in Portugal but I think they are such a good idea and they look so good.
We also found the nicest bakery ever, where they served amazing fruit salads that where so refreshing and tasty. (I've never eaten so many fruits in one week, let alone one day!!)
After looking around the city and buying the outfit I am wearing in the photo, we decided to have a look around the 'hippie' and more medieval part of Granada, and may I say it would of been a lot more enjoyable if I'd of worn some shoes I was already used to... (I got the biggest blisters ever!)
On our first evening we had a plate of croquetas and a plate of paella at the most Spanish bar ever whilst we listened to people sing and dance. (I actually have a video on YouTube, to which I will leave a link here).
And I actually don't know what to say apart from I really recommend Granada, it was an amazing experience and the people were really kind, and apart from that I just want to say travel, travel wherever you can and explore, learn and enjoy even if its just an hour away, you don't have to go that far to have the best experiences.
