Traveling.

18:00

Traveling is a thing I love to experience from time to time. Obviously I do miss home, but I do love it.

This year I have traveled various places both in and out of Spain and I only hope this grows throughout 2016. I have left my heart in so many places and I can't wait to go back to them, so today I am going to talk about my favorite.

GRANADA

One of my top places I visited had to be Granada, when I say it is beautiful, I mean it.

When walking around the busy streets I loved the rustic vibe of the 'rugs' hanging above the road for shade, later this year I also so these in Portugal but I think they are such a good idea and they look so good.

We also found the nicest bakery ever, where they served amazing fruit salads that where so refreshing and tasty. (I've never eaten so many fruits in one week, let alone one day!!)

After looking around the city and buying the outfit I am wearing in the photo, we decided to have a look around the 'hippie' and more medieval part of Granada, and may I say it would of been a lot more enjoyable if I'd of worn some shoes I was already used to... (I got the biggest blisters ever!)

On our first evening we had a plate of croquetas and a plate of paella at the most Spanish bar ever whilst we listened to people sing and dance. (I actually have a video on YouTube, to which I will leave a link here).

And I actually don't know what to say apart from I really recommend Granada, it was an amazing experience and the people were really kind, and apart from that I just want to say travel, travel wherever you can and explore, learn and enjoy even if its just an hour away, you don't have to go that far to have the best experiences.

Hair care favorites 2015.

18:00

Every single time I talk about 'hair care' I somehow fit Nelly products in to the subject and I don't know how I have grown to love them so much. I remember the first time I purchased the product after having my hair chopped off at the beginning of the year (this sounds like a romantic comedy or something), but it did actually happen. Once I got my hair cut I went out on the hunt for hair products that would work great with my hair and create the finish look I wanted, and Nelly was the one.

I think the straightening shampoo and hair mask will forever be my two faves although these are no longer available in most shops (sadly). These left my hair feeling nourished and rich in shine and still made my hair look healthy and straight which is one thing that most straightening shampoos don't actually do.

To be completely honest I am not as happy with Nelly's new collection as I was with the previous. Maybe its just the retailers I know and buy from don't have the complete collection, I don't know as I haven't yet researched as much as I should.

With that said, I do still have a couple of favorites out of their new collection, these being the normal  shampoo, the ultra repair shampoo and the hydra shine hair mask that contains apple extracts (it smells amazing!!).

Now that I have bored you 'Nellyless' I do have one other product I have been loving and this is the volumising dry hair shampoo from Batiste. I love how this product seams to last me forever although I use it every day regardless, and obviously it leaves my hair non greasy and volumised as you would expect from a volumising dry hair shampoo.

And they are my top hair care favorites. I know I hardly mentioned any for a year worth of favorites, but these are the absolute favorites as I have used them non stop and they are my number one recommendations!

Tips for self-love.

12:00

If you're a regular reader of my blog you will know I am a massive fan of makeup, animals, everything copper, and among them and many more, I am a massive fan of self-love and self-confidence, so when Lizzy gave me the opportunity to collab with her I took it as an offer I could not reject, so with that said (written) I am going to crack on and tell you my five top tricks.

1.- Self love and confidence means staying true to yourself always, don't obsess over what people think of you. Live life for yourself

2.- Never do something you're uncomfortable with, remember the rules you have made for YOURSELF and hold on to them.

3.- Accept others and that will make you accept yourself more than you could ever imagine, don't judge others.

4.- Inspire.

5.- Have fun and don't let anything or anyone hold the freedom you have for yourself back.

Please don't forget to check out Lizzy's blog and her opinion and perspective about this topic, you can check out her blog here!

Thank you so much for your time and take care!x

10 Cherry Cocktails.

16:00

As a pale skinned blonde person, I feel a bit drowned in dark colours such as blacks, dark purples and dark red toned berry colours even, but this autumn I've got a feeling I'm going to dare myself to wear this Bourjois lipstick.

It is a dark berry coloured lipstick, in the tone "Ten Cherry Cocktails" which I actually love the name of, and as I said 10 seconds ago, I'm not a huge fan of a dark lip but this one just has something quite appealing to it.

What colour lipsticks are you bringing out and daring yourself to wear this autumn? Xxx

You do you.

17:01

If you've followed me on my blog for a few months, you will have read one of my most common posts called Follow Your Heart and just for in case you haven't you can read it here.

Since about June, July this year I have been loving everything makeup and fashion and I have been loving watching my makeup drawer grow, but that doesn't change the fact that I still have 5 guinea pigs, 5 dogs and 3 birds and neither does it change the fact that I sit around in pijamas all day everyday.

So far you will be wondering where on earth I am going with this, I'm not quite sure myself but its something like "do what makes you happy and do what makes you you", by this, I mean be a "country bumpkin" as my mum calls me, be a fashionista and do your makeup four times a day, do motorcycling, do Youtube, role around in mud even if that's what makes YOU happy.

In life we tend to let our lives be led by other peoples opinions and we shouldn't be, on the opposite, we should let our lives be led by what makes us happy and things we are passionate about.

The main thing you have to learn in life, and especially as a teenager is to stop caring what people think about you, because that's just going to hold you back from being who you are. People are ALWAYS going to have opinions on who you should be, but there's only one person who can actually choose that, and that is you, no ones comments define who you are.

You are you, don't change that or hide that to please other people.

Easy & cheap drugstore makeup look.

21:49

Last Tuesday I was playing around with my makeup (as usual) when I came up with this look that I really liked and it was really easy to achieve so I thought I would share it with you!

To start of, and I'm not quite sure why I did it this way round, I used my ASTRA concealer to prime my eyes and then went straight in with the eye shadow. Using my Makeup Revolution London 'What are you waiting for?' palette and I applied the colour 'Take a chance' to my lid, and then applied a tiny bit of 'sex chromosome' to the crease and blended these together with my UD  brushes. For my lashes I used my Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara and applied the 'Normal' lashes from Primarni (aka, Primark).

Then I applied my holy grail foundation from Rimmel and I buffed this in with my Urban Decay foundation brush.

To my messy (horrible) brows, all I did was brush through them with my Loreal brow artist plumper.

Then to finish off I used my Minnie bronzer in the colour Terracotta and the W7 blush in the colour Galactic.

What are you waiting for? Palette review.

18:00

I've been meaning to this post ever since I slipper the palette into my Primor bag. As you have probably notices, I am more of a neutrals girl, I'd rather war a brown or a gold any day rather than a blue or a purple just because they make me look like an even bigger weirdo with my blue eyes.
When the day I was going to buy this palette came (I'd been wanting it for a couple of weeks) I was umming and aring a LOT about which palette to get as they all looked equaly as great, but finally I decided over the 'What Are You Waiting For?' palette.
It is a VERY inexpensive palette but you would've never guessed, its packaging is very high quality (it looks like a chocolate bar if I may say so myself) and it would easily be perfect to take traveling with you as it isn't at all chunky or heavy.

Now moving to the inside of the palette, it is a nudish themed palette, based on gold, brown and a bit of pinkish shades. There are twelve shimmered colors, and six matte ones all very highly pigmented and long lasting. My three favorite and most used shimmers are:
Scary conversation
Take a chance
Shut my eyes
And my three favorites and most used mattes are:
Million Dollar Contract
Hot Track
Brand New Fans
All in all I think this palette is a great buy and I will definitely be getting another one out of the collection.
Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution products? If so, what did you think about them? Xxx

Travel.

19:35

Yes, I know. "Where have you been?" Is that what you are wondering? I know I have been distant from many social medias (some more than others) for the last couple of months, and it has all been due to schoolwork and travelling.
If I could give any of you one pinch of advise for this summer, it is to travel. You don't have to go far and spend a lot of money, but just get out and go somewhere out of your comfort-zone, go somewhere new, somewhere you've never been before and explore. Just turn off your phone and have the time of your life or even just the day of your life.
A couple of weeks ago I left my house to go out and travel and one of the places I went to was Granada. It isn't far from where I live, just about two hours to be exact, but still I had one of the greatest times and I can't wait to go again and I totally recommend to you or anyone you know to disconnect and get on a couple of hours bus journey (that only cost me 18 euros both ways) and just have a good time.

Here's a picture of me looking down at a river (with water in it) I state that due to the fact that where I live there aren't any rivers with water in and they are all as dry as a desert.

These are a couple of pictures from a bakery's we bought a fruit salad from to share and is was delicious.

This picture is the most tumblr-ish I am most proud of as I uploaded it to tumblr in a cropped symmetrical square and oh my god...

(The Castle of Granada aka Alhambra).

We had the loveliest couscous and croquetas for dinner at a old typical Spanish bar to the sound of people singing and dancing (I've got it all on a vlog).

These two last pictures are from the medieval part of Granada, I'm still not sure what part I loved more seen as all of it was very lovely and touristic.
If you would like to follow me round Granada on my vlog, check out my Vlog Channel and hopefully the video will be up there soon.
I hope you liked this weeks blog and hopefully I get back into a little "Blog Routine" again. Love youuuuuuu xxx

False alarm and eagle alert!

20:02

So yes, it turns out that my mummy guinea pig wasn't in labor, it was just me getting excited and anxious for the babies to arrive. She is still heavily pregnant though and a bit moody so she must of just been feeling it that day especially.
Well that's all the news for today, and seen as that is all I had to blog about, I thought that sticking to the animal theme I would tell you about yesterdays event. The peacock alert. Here goes.
Yesterday morning I got back from walking my dogs, just to find a peacock sat on the pool banister under the tree. Obviously I couldn't let it go without snapping some pics.

After its first and sadly, most probably last photo shoot I remembered a neighbor from a few houses down used to have a peacock or two, so I went and asked her and she admitted it was hers but as most Spanish are, didn't care for a moment and just said it will either come back or not.
After her frustrating behavior I went home and woke my brother home, fetched some towels and gardening gloves and hoped for him to tackle the peacock hen down, but he didn't. As soon as he arrived at the seen, she did her grand escape, the thing that she had probably been dying to do for months. She set off. But not like a peacock she had the speed of a sparrow behind her and looked like a gigantic eagle or something, I bet more than one teenage fool called the police saying they'd seen an eagle (most probably one of my brothers friends, they've done it before).
I just want to thank this peacock for allowing me to take these beautiful snaps, wish her and her boyfriend (who the neighbor told me also had escaped less than an hour later) the best in there journey, and lastly that they get a foreign new owner so they can get treated correctly.
What "animal" tales have you got to tell me? I'd love to hear all about them!
