Introvert or extrovert?

13:56

Basically, introverts and extroverts are personality trades, and they dictate how your brain works, how you act around people, and lots more. You can be both introvert and extrovert, which makes you an ambivalent (a mix of both, I believe), but usually you lean more towards one or the other, and in my case, I think I lean more towards being an introvert.
For example, a lot of the time I'd rather stay inside than go out to a party, and I find it really difficult to talk to new people and meet new people, because I feel really shy and awkward, I even feel weird going to meet up with a group of friends I haven't seen in a while. I'm not sure why but its just kind of how my brain works.
These things don't necessarily make me an introvert, but they are definitely characteristics of the personality and I think you kind of know which one you lean towards more.
I have had a few questions on social medias from people being quite concerned, I guess because they feel quiet and very sensitive and they don't like going out as much, and perhaps they feel a little antisocial, like people don't necessarily see them in the right way or the right light. No, this doesn't make you weird in any way for being the way you are and for being an introvert.
Being quiet and introspective aren't bad qualities to have, I think there is a thing, that extroverts are just seen as the "normal" ones, and in order to succeed in your life and your career, you need to be a big social person, that is super confident and good at talking in front of lots of people, and that is just not true at all, there are so many people that have shaped the world, who have been introverts like Einstein, Shakespeare, JK Rowling, Abraham Lincoln... all these people are introverts, and are all responsible for shaping the world.
Don't be scared for being this way. You are not weird for being the way you are, and you are still capable of doing absolutely amazing things, and I am not making this mean that extroverts are bad, some of my closest friends, and the best people I know are extroverts, but there is this special stigma where introverts aren't as highly guided as extroverts, and it isn't right, you should be able to be as different as you want to be, and as crazy as you want to be, and just be yourself.
I would really appreciate if you could leave a comment down below telling me if you are either a introvert or whether you are an extrovert, I am just kind of interested to see what you say, and hopefully I will get closer and know you all a tiny bit better.
Thanks for reading, love you guys, stay weird and see you soon! Xx

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

15:09

First of all I wanted to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the super-mummy's out there, and all the mummy's to-be, you are all doing a great job!

Being a mum, must be one of the most tough and terrifying yet amazing experiences, I imagine, as well as being one of the most surreal and exhausting ones. You can't just wait around nine months until your customized baby arrives, decide you don't like it, or it isn't your cup of tea and get rid, it is a very big responsibility. A responsibility that could cost you 60 years of your life if your not careful.

I know about 5 teenagers of my age and younger (16 or 17) that are pregnant, or that even already have a child, and although they are happy, and excited and in love with there little one, deep down they must regret it. They haven't even had a life yet, they haven't stopped relying on there parents yet, they probably haven't even been with there boyfriend enough time to know them in the right way, or even to know any different or if indeed they would love someone else more than him. I don't mean that in a bitchy way, I just mean that I don't believe you should stay with the first person you "love" when at this age, you don't even know the true meaning of the word. I think you should go out, and have fun, travel the world, with your loved one if that may please you, or simply just with a couple of your friends.

I don't know where I was trying to go in that last paragraph seen as I was changing the topic of this post a bit, but I simply want to wish a special Mother's Day to every single mum of every single age and nationality, and thank them for helping to create this "wonderful" world.

Lastly, I am just going to dedicate a quick paragraph to my mum, the best mum I could of asked for, and I want to thank her for staying strong even though me and my brother can be quite unbearable (especially my brother) and I also want to thank her for always being there through thick and thin, and thanks to her I am the person I am today. I wouldn't change you for the world mum! Xx

Thanks for reading! E xx

Valentines Day

16:44

February the 14th is Valentines Day, when people all over the world express their love for one another, although in my opinion, there shouldn't be a special day that your partner has to spend money on you and make you realize how much you love them, it should be like that everyday of the year.
Anyway, with Valentines in mind, the first and important thing you need to know is that we fall in love. Falling in love is kind of an accident- usually a happy accident, but one we are not able to control.
Not everyone believes in love at first sight (me for example). Still it is a popular romantic idea that two people see each other for the first time, their hearts meet and their hearts pound and that moment they automatically know they found love.
Indeed for some, Valentines Day is a pleasant reminder of how single you are, but still this doesn't mean it has to be a depressing occasion. You can still treat yourself and be happy about where you are in life, you could meet up with some friends, or just treat it like any other day, you could have a "pamper day" or a "all about you day". The only thing you shouldn't do is sit around feeling sorry for yourself, this will just make the day depressing and dreaded. Don't worry it only comes once a year so get out there and in any of the many ways, enjoy it!
Hope you have a great Valentines and it all goes well if you are doing anything special and I would love to hear what you are going to be up to, or have been up to in the comments, until next time! Xx
